Katherine is a former President of the Alumni Association at the University of Maryland and past Board Member of the University of Maryland Board of Visitors, the University of Maryland Alumni Association, the Washington DC Rotary, and the YMCA of Metro Washington.

Katherine currently serves as Treasurer and as a Director on the Board of the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce.
